The day will include free time in the castle and gardens plus a cream tea in the Aviary tearoom. Open to members, affiliated society members and non-members. Pick up points are Easton College and Cherry Tree car park, Dereham, with free parking at both sites. Departure times: 7.30am from Easton College and 7.50am from Dereham. Visit to National Gardens Scheme Open Day and Plant Fair at Pottertons
Pottertons Nursery, LN7 6HX Caistor, Lincolnshire, United KingdomA day trip with Avanti coach travel to a National Garden Scheme Open Day and Plant Hunters Fair at Pottertons nursery The coach will leave Easton College at 7.00am and Cherry Tree car park, Dereham at 7.20am, free parking at both sites. We will have a stop at Hemswell Antique Centre on the way home, for refreshments and a bit of browsing time. Bookings being taken now. £20 for members and affiliated society members. £25 for non-members. This covers the coach travel. Everyone will need to pay £3 for entrance to the plant fair and garden, which is open for the National Garden Scheme on that day. Coach trip to RHS Hyde Hall Festival of Flavours
RHS Garden Hyde Hall Chelmsford, Essex, United KingdomA day coach trip with Avanti Travel to RHS Hyde Hall Festival of Flavours A visit to view the garden during the autumn as RHS Garden Hyde Hall celebrates growing and eating food from around the world. There will be an opportunity to explore and buy from a range of food stalls selling a selection of local and regional food, drink and ingredients and take a tour through the Global Growth Vegetable Garden with the Horticultural team to discover all the possibilities of home growing. Cost is £30 for members/affiliated society members and £40 for non-members. There is a £10 discount for RHS members. Booking deadline 23 September 2022. Departure point is East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall. We will leave at 8am and arrive at Hyde Hall around 10.30am. Day 1: Depart East Tuddenham and travel to Brodsworth Hall & Gardens, an English Heritage property near Doncaster. Travel on to our hotel for one night, The Holiday Inn at Newcastle upon Tyne. Day 2: Depart our hotel and travel to the home of Sir Walter Scott, Abbotsford. Guided tour included. Travel on to our hotel for the remainder of the holiday, The Barony Castle Hotel. Day 3: A full day visit to Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh Day 4: Visits to the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel and Callendar House and Park Day 5: Morning visit to Kalzie Gardens. Coach trip to Alpine Garden Society Early Spring Show & Plant Fair
Chelmsford Racecourse Chelmsford, Essex, United KingdomWe have organised a coach trip to the Alpine Garden Society Early Spring Show & Plant Fair at Chelmsford Racecourse on Saturday 2 March 2024. There are a few seats available, please Contact Us if you are interested in coming with us. This is a new venue for this indoor show and many nurseries and other societies will be attending. Please follow the link for details. Coach cost £20 per person. AGS members get free entry to the show, non-members pay £5 on the door. We will depart from Hethersett Village Hall, Back Lane, Hethersett, NR9 3JJ at 8am. A second pick up will be made on the main road in Long Stratton, from where we will travel directly to the show, arriving around 9.30am. We will leave at 2.30pm, arriving back at around 4pm.

We have sufficient expressions of interest to fill a coach plus a waiting list. Departing from Easton College at 9.15am and picking up in Long Stratton on route. Arriving at Green Island Gardens around 11am and departing at 3pm. Arriving back at Easton College around 4.45pm. Cost £40 for members and affiliates. Price includes hot drink on arrival followed by a lunch of soup and a roll, cake and hot drink.
