Sowing, Growing & Showing Alpines – Zoom talk by Jim Almond

Beautiful Bulbs – talk by Simon White

Garden Pests & Diseaases

Our January 2024 meeting will have the well known Norfolk gardener Martyn Davey give a presentation on Garden Pests and Diseases. Martyn is the regular gardening columnist for the Eastern Daily Press and regular contributor to the Garden Party on radio Norfolk. Previously a senior lecturer at Easton & Ottley College Martyn has a wealth of knowledge on pests and diseases we find in our garden. He will talk about the various pests and diseases we encounter in our gardens and how, as a gardener, we can combat or ameliorate their detrimental effects.

How to grow Vegetables for Exhibition – Part 1

One of our most experienced members in vegetable growing will talk about and give guidance on growing vegetables for exhibition.  Session open to society members and members of our affiliated societies, free of charge. This is the first of three sessions.  No requirement to attend all sessions - each one will concentrate on action at the actual time of the session.
