Summer Show
Norfolk Showground Dereham Road, Norwich, Norfolk, United KingdomOur summer show will take place within the Garden Village at the Royal Norfolk Show and feature cut flowers, pot plants, vegetables and fruit. Norwich Group of Flower Clubs organise the floral art exhibits alongside our show. Entry to our show is open to all. Please see separate Show pages. Visitors need to purchase a ticket to the Royal Norfolk Show.
Redisham Hall Garden Visit
Redisham Hall Nurseries Redisham Hall, Redisham, Beccles, Suffolk, United KingdomMembers, affiliated society members and their guests are invited to join us on a private afternoon visit to the gardens at Redisham Hall Nurseries. As well as the Walled kitchen garden you will be able to enjoy the Herbaceous borders, Lawns, Shrubberies, Woodland garden, Ha-Ha wall, ponds, Arboretum & Mature trees. Followed by tea & cake in the Nursery Tearoom. £12 per person for members & affiliated society members, £15 for non-member guests. Holiday to RHS Bridgewater & Tatton Park Flower Show
Our holiday with Avanti Coach Travel in 2024 will include visits to RHS Bridgewater and RHS Flower Show Tatton Park. The full itinerary, timings and costs have been sent to those booked on the holiday. We will be staying at the Best Western Hotel Frodsham, four nights dinner, bed and breakfast. Members and affiliated society members only. This holiday is fully booked and has a waiting list.
How to grow Vegetables for exhibition – Part 3
One of our most experienced members in vegetable growing will talk about and give guidance on growing vegetables for exhibition. Session open to society members and members of our affiliated societies, free of charge. This is the last of three sessions. No requirement to attend all sessions - each one will concentrate on action at the actual time of the session. This will take place in the Norwich area, to the west of the city. Please contact the General Secretary if you wish to take part.
Early Autumn Show
The Costessey Centre Longwater Lane, CostesseyOur early autumn show will feature Dahlias, cut flowers, pot plants, vegetables and fruit. Advice and information. Second-hand gardening books for sale. Refreshments available. All welcome. Free admission, donations welcome.
Talk: Gardening Naturally – Changing from Chemicals to Nature
Annette Hurt, an experienced RHS qualified gardener and beekeeper will give us a talk on "Gardening Naturally" followed by a question and answer session. Members £3, non-members £5. Bookings will open in June.
Late Autumn Show
St Faiths Centre Horsham St Faith, Norwich, NorfolkOur final show for 2024 will be our Late Autumn Show featuring Chrysanthemums, vegetables, fruit, cut flowers, pot plants, cookery and floral art. Entry is open to all, see our Shows page for details. Free admission.
Annual General Meeting
East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall Mattishall Road, East Tuddenham, Norfolk, United KingdomOur 2024 Annual General Meeting will be at East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall. All members are welcome to attend plus representatives of affiliated societies. Pre-AGM Buffet at 12 noon - 1.15pm, £10 per person, including the talk at 3pm. Annual General Meeting & All Shows Awards 1.30pm - 2.30pm. Tea & coffee will be served from 1.15pm. All members are welcome to attend just the AGM, no charge. 2.30pm - break. 3pm: Talk on Monet's Garden at Giverny. £5 per person for those not booked on the buffet. See separate Event listing.
