Late Autumn Show – Norfolk & Norwich Horticultural Society
St Faiths Centre Horsham St Faith, Norwich, NorfolkOur last show of 2023 will feature Chrysanthemums, Floral Art, Pot Plants, Cut Flowers, Fruit, Vegetables and Cookery classes. Special classes for juniors, affiliated societies and novice exhibitors. Free admission, all welcome. Plants and second-hand gardening books for sale. Refreshments available.

Wildlife Garden Ponds
Holme Hale Pavilion School Road, Holme HaleOur November meeting will have the well known Norfolk naturalist and author Simon Harrap give a presentation on Wildlife Garden Ponds. Simon has written several books on wildlife topics including wildflowers. Along with his wife Anne, Simon runs Natural Surroundings on the Bayfield estate near Holt in Norfolk. Simon is passionate about encouraging wildlife into our gardens with either plantings or via a wildlife pond. Simon will talk about how to create a wildlife pond in your garden and how to maximise attracting wildlife into it. Simon will also talk about how to maintain your wildlife pond through the seasons.

Our first meeting of 2024 will be a virtual one, with an online Zoom talk by Jim Almond on the subject of "Sowing, Growing & Showing Alpines". Beautiful Bulbs – talk by Simon White

Annual General Meeting
East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall Mattishall Road, East Tuddenham, Norfolk, United KingdomAll members and representatives of our affiliated societies are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting. We will be discussing our activities for year ended 30 September 2023 and looking forward to future events. We will also make our All Shows trophy awards for 2023. Arrive from 1.30pm for tea/coffee and the AGM will start at 2pm. There will be an opportunity to socialise after the meeting.
Garden Pests & Diseaases
Holme Hale Pavilion School Road, Holme HaleOur January 2024 meeting will have the well known Norfolk gardener Martyn Davey give a presentation on Garden Pests and Diseases. Martyn is the regular gardening columnist for the Eastern Daily Press and regular contributor to the Garden Party on radio Norfolk. Previously a senior lecturer at Easton & Ottley College Martyn has a wealth of knowledge on pests and diseases we find in our garden. He will talk about the various pests and diseases we encounter in our gardens and how, as a gardener, we can combat or ameliorate their detrimental effects.
Good Companions in the Garden – talk by Tim Fuller
