Visit to National Gardens Scheme Open Day and Plant Fair at Pottertons

A day trip  with Avanti coach travel  to a National Garden Scheme Open Day and Plant Hunters Fair at Pottertons nursery The coach will leave Easton College at 7.00am and Cherry Tree car park, Dereham at 7.20am, free parking at both sites. We will have a stop at Hemswell Antique Centre on the way home, for refreshments and a bit of browsing time. Bookings being taken now.  £20 for members and affiliated society members.  £25 for non-members.  This covers the coach travel.  Everyone will need to pay £3 for entrance to the plant fair and garden, which is open for the National Garden Scheme on that day. Martham & District Garden Club

Whilst there is no Club meeting in June there is an evening visit for members and partners on Monday 13th June to the gardens at "The Old Rectory" Catfield. East Anglia 2023 Alpine Garden Society Show

2023 will see the return of the East Anglia Alpine Garden Society show, organised by the Norfolk Group of the Alpine Garden Society, which meets monthly at Hethersett Village Hall.  Anyone with an interest in alpine plants is welcome to join this friendly group - see the link for more details. This year's show will be in a new venue, Morley Village and Sports Hall, just south of Wymondham.  As well as a show of alpine plants from exhibitors across East Anglia and further afield, there will be plants for sale from specialist nurseries and from members of the Norfolk Group.  Refreshments available. Alpine Garden Society members have free admission.  There will be a small charge for non-members.

50th Anniversary Summer Show – Shipdham Garden Club

Shipdham Garden Club & Horticultural Society celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year. Our summer show this year is open to all to enter and includes children's classes. The show will open to the public at 1pm to view the exhibits and there will be plant sales and refreshments available. At 2pm Pauline Harper will give us a talk titled "Re-use & Re-cycle in the garden". Presentations at 3.30pm after which the show will close.
