Martham & District Garden Club
Martham Methodist Church Repps Road, MarthamOur December meeting will be on Monday 12th December. This meeting will be for the Clubs AGM. The AGM will be followed by some seasonal craft activities together with a finger buffet. The Costessey Centre Longwater Lane, CostesseyAn opportunity for representatives from our affiliated societies to meet and share information and ideas. Meeting will take place in the Jerningham Room on the first floor. A lift is available. Free parking on site. The meeting is also open to representatives from societies/clubs who are considering affiliating to Norfolk & Norwich Horticultural Society. Cost is £25 per year.

Wildlife Garden Ponds
Holme Hale Pavilion School Road, Holme HaleOur November meeting will have the well known Norfolk naturalist and author Simon Harrap give a presentation on Wildlife Garden Ponds. Simon has written several books on wildlife topics including wildflowers. Along with his wife Anne, Simon runs Natural Surroundings on the Bayfield estate near Holt in Norfolk. Simon is passionate about encouraging wildlife into our gardens with either plantings or via a wildlife pond. Simon will talk about how to create a wildlife pond in your garden and how to maximise attracting wildlife into it. Simon will also talk about how to maintain your wildlife pond through the seasons.
Annual General Meeting

We will be discussing our activities for year ended 30 September 2023 and looking forward to future events. We will also make our All Shows trophy awards for 2023. Arrive from 1.30pm for tea/coffee and the AGM will start at 2pm. There will be an opportunity to socialise after the meeting.
