The annual Autumn Show of Diss & District Horticultural Society
Annual Open Show. 93 classes of vegetables, fruit, flowers, plants and cookery, plus some local WI’s taking part in their own competition. Refreshments available, plant and cake stall. Free entry.
Our Autumn Gardening Fayre will be held on Saturday 14th September at the Hempton Memorial Hall, The Green, Hempton NR21 7LG. Entries include dahlias, chrysanthemums and other autumn flowers, fruit, vegetables, flower arrangements, photography, craft and homemade produce. There are 54 classes in all. Members enjoyed this show so much in 2024 that we are making a return trip to the Alpine Garden Society Early Spring Show at Chelmsford Racecourse in 2025. Details are on the AGS website. We will again be part of the Garden Village within the Royal Norfolk Show. Everyone is welcome to make entries in this show, no charge. See our Summer Show page for details. Exhibitors receive show passes. Visitors to the show need to purchase Royal Norfolk Show tickets to gain admission.
