Recycle & Re-use in the Garden – talk by Pauline Harper
WI Hall Shipdham High Street, Shipdham, Thetford, Norfolk, United KingdomAs part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, local horticultural judge and speaker Pauline Harper will give us a new talk on the subject of recycling and re-using in our gardens. This will include making compost from our waste plant material and an opportunity for participants to talk about their own methods of "Waste not, want not". Open to all, free admission.
Drought Tolerant Plants – a talk by Barry Gayton for Norfolk & Norwich Horticultural Society
The Costessey Centre Longwater Lane, CostesseyBarry Gayton of Desertworld Garden, Santon Downham, will talk us through a range of drought tolerant plants for our gardens. The talk will take place in the Jerningham Room on the first floor of The Costessey Centre. Members & affiliated society members: £2.50 per person, payable on the door.
