A day in which we will look at showing pot plants, cut flowers, vegetables and fruit from the perspective of exhibitors, judges, show secretaries and stewards. Book your place through Eventbrite.  Free to all our members and affiliated society members with promotional code (sent by email).  Non-members £10 per person.  Free parking on site. No experience necessary.  Perhaps you would like to show or become a judge.  We will help you to make a start.  If you already have some experience, we will help you to fine tune your skills. 10.30am - Tea & coffee on arrival 11.00am - What does a judge look for? 12.30 - 1.30pm - lunch break.  Light refreshments included. 1.30 - 3pm - Focus on showing and judging Vegetables, Alpines and Roses 3-4pm - Show schedules 4pm - Close of event

One of our most experienced members in vegetable growing will talk about and give guidance on growing vegetables for exhibition.  Session open to society members and members of our affiliated societies, free of charge. This is the first of three sessions.  No requirement to attend all sessions - each one will concentrate on action at the actual time of the session.
